Vienna is something special all over the world: in hardly any other capital does viticulture play such a big role directly within the city. On this enjoyable tour you get to know exactly this side of Vienna – and follow the footsteps of Viennese wine deep below the city centre.

Together with your guide, you will visit three historic wine cellars in the first district, which are normally not open to the public. There you will taste three typical Viennese wines and enjoy selected Austrian specialties.

Behind inconspicuous doors, cellars open, which remain hidden in normal city life. Each location has its own character and gives you a special insight into the Viennese wine tradition.

During the tasting, you will learn more about regional viticulture, production and specificities of the wines. You will discover new flavors and learn what makes Viennese wine so unmistakable.

Yes, the tour takes place in all weather, so also in rain. Therefore, please pay attention to firm footwear and weather-friendly clothing.

However, we spend most of our time in the cellars, only the paths in between require weather-friendly clothing.
